I'm Lucy. I photograph weddings the way they actually happen. Creative, candid and completely yours. The main focus is documenting the day as is happened but also allowing time for some creative flare or a gentle nod to the elevated look. And of course- always ensuring good vibes - no manufactured moments.
The colours, the creativity, the people. The dress, the dog, the d-floor. The quiet details nobody else caught and the big loud moments everyone will talk about for years.
I've been doing this since 2018, across Adelaide and beyond, in digital and film, for couples who know what they want and aren't settling for anything less.

I’m an Adelaide based photographer who specialises in real life moments. Capturing everything from weddings, family portraits, newborns, commercial events, music and theatre. As well as selling prints from my own personal photography (I hope you like clouds!).
How long have you been doing Photography?
Oh yes – we all do, don’t we? If you’ve come this far I hope it means you’re into my pictures (or you just like read FAQs?!). I shoot as I see - always in the style of documenting. I love doing portraits, I really love engaging with people and making them feel at ease infront of the lens. And I also love to get creative.
What’s your style? Do you have one?
If for any emergency reason I’m unable to attend a wedding (it would only ever be an emergency that could keep me from you!), I have a close support network of accomplished photographers to call on – you won’t be without an amazing photographer!

Will I photoshop your face onto a Kardashian body? No.
Will I edit your photos to bring out the absolute magic of the day? Yes.

A whole lot of fun is what I am!! Ok, seriously… I am the ultimate professional, but I like to keep things light-hearted to make sure that everyone is comfortable and having a good time. Because that is when the gold comes out, and I’m ready and waiting to capture the magic!
What are you like on the day?
Heck yes! These are ‘add-ons’ which you can purchase at a later date. All my packages are a base price to start with, then we can tailor these further to suit what you’re looking for, priced accordingly.
Albums?
Documentary style photography is where there is minimal intervention or instruction by the photographer, simply allowing whatever is unfolding to do so and to capture things as they are naturally occurring. Whilst I do give a bit of instruction (and encouragement!), this is how I like to approach my work. I love to capture the raw and truthful moments, and this is when it happens, when it is allowed to.
What do you mean by documentary style of Photography?
I’ve actually lost count... but average 15-20 per year. This is based on what I can currently hold keeping in mind I shoot families, unit stills and some commercial throughout the year. Aside from keeping me sane, it also enables me to give my full attention and concentration to you throughout the process.
